Salary: $79,800 – $139,080 (depending on location)

What you will do

• Design basic to intermediate building systems and perform necessary engineering calculations.
• Prepare system layouts, schematics, and detailed design documents.
• Review shop drawings for conformance to project plans and specifications.
• Perform research on system feasibility and evaluate products for application.
• Visit job sites to verify existing conditions and monitor construction progress.
• Collaborate with clients, architects, and contractors to resolve conflicts and coordinate scope.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Fire Protection, or Architectural Engineering and 3 years of experience, or 6 years of experience with a high school diploma.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Intermediate proficiency in Revit and Bluebeam Revu.
• Knowledge of A&E industry codes, design guides, and standards.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills in English.

Nice to have

• Completion of the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam.
• Certifications like BEMP, CPD, CDP, NICET, RCDD.
