Program Manager (Voice AI)

Location: Remote within the United States

Base salary: $152,200–$190,200 for locations outside San Francisco, New York City, and Seattle; $166,700–$208,400 in San Francisco, New York City, and Seattle. Equity and bonus are offered separately.

What you will do

• Design, launch, and own end-to-end voice data workflows from raw audio ingestion to production-ready datasets.
• Create and evolve labeling specifications, style guides, instructional documentation, and quality safeguards for global annotation teams.
• Translate product and model requirements into data creation strategies, acquisition plans, scalable processes, and evaluation programs.
• Prototype and deploy data tools and infrastructure while improving automation, throughput, cost-efficiency, and workflow quality.
• Collaborate with Research, Engineering, Product, QA, and Evaluation teams to align data collection with model training and product outcomes.
• Manage data vendors and freelancers, track vendor performance, and curate datasets for product goals, linguistic coverage, and research hypotheses.

Requirements

• Experience owning data, machine learning, operations, program, project, or product management programs end to end.
• Ability to work directly with technical teams on data quality, evaluation, and model impact.
• Strong systems thinking, prioritization under constraints, operational execution, and process-design skills.
• Direct exposure to speech, audio, ASR, or TTS data, including multilingual, code-switched, low-resource, or domain-specific data.
• Experience with active-learning or data-selection approaches.
• Must be based in the United States for this remote role.
