What you will do

• Design and own end-to-end data workflows from raw audio ingestion to production-ready datasets.
• Develop labeling specs, style guides, and instructional documentation for global annotation teams.
• Translate product goals and model requirements into concrete data creation strategies.
• Prototype and deploy data tools and infrastructure to optimize workflow implementation.
• Collaborate with Research and Engineering to align data collection with model training architecture.
• Manage and mentor data vendors and freelancers to ensure throughput, quality, and cost-efficiency.

Requirements

• Experience owning data, ML, or operations programs end-to-end.
• Fluency in working with technical teams to discuss data quality, evaluation, and model impact.
• Strong systems thinking and ability to design scalable processes from fundamentals.
• Proven track record of prioritization and sequencing under constraints.
• Must be based in the USA.

Nice to have

• Direct exposure to speech/audio, ASR, or TTS data, including multilingual or low-resource data.
• Experience with active-learning or data-selection approaches.
• Experience working in startups or high-ambiguity environments.
