Data Center Physical Security Manager (AI)

Location: Must be based onsite in Greensboro, NC

Salary: $90,000 - $130,000 USD

What you will do

• Lead day-to-day physical security operations across assigned data center campuses in a 24/7 critical infrastructure environment.
• Oversee contracted security officers and guarding vendors, managing staffing plans and performance metrics.
• Manage site security posture, including perimeter protection, access control, surveillance, and visitor management.
• Lead responses to physical security incidents and investigations involving unauthorized access, theft, or policy violations.
• Act as the primary security contact during customer audits, executive visits, and internal inspections.
• Support security activities and commissioning for new builds and campus expansions.

Requirements

• 7+ years of progressive physical security experience, with 3+ years in critical infrastructure, data centers, or military environments.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
• Experience managing contract guard forces and utilizing enterprise access control and video management systems.
• Demonstrated expertise in leading incident response and forensic investigations.
• Must be based in or be able to work onsite in Greensboro, NC.

Nice to have

• Experience with hyperscale/colocation data centers and compliance programs like ISO 27001, SOC 2, or PCI.
• Knowledge of CPTED principles and platforms such as LenelS2, Genetec, Milestone, or Gallagher.
• ASIS certifications (CPP, PSP, PCI) or leadership experience in law enforcement or military.
