What you will do

• Manage all production documentation for complex DNA sequencing systems, including IQC, build, and rework procedures.
• Create and update technical drawings for PCBAs, cables, and electromechanical assemblies.
• Lead design transfer, ECO implementation, and collaborate with R&D on product validation and test requirements.
• Perform root cause analysis and troubleshooting for production equipment and failed operational qualifications.
• Apply DFM, DFA, and DFQ principles to optimize design and production efficiency.
• Manage project schedules for BOM release, long lead time orders, and risk buys.

Requirements

• BS in Electrical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience transitioning products from R&D to full-scale capital equipment production.
• Proven experience troubleshooting automated instruments or robotic systems with electrical and electro-mechanical assemblies.
• Proficiency in reading PCB schematics, board layouts, and multi-level BOMs.
• Hands-on experience with oscilloscopes, digital multimeters (DMMs), and bench test equipment.
• Experience with PLM software (Arena) and electrical CAD packages (Altium or KiCAD).

Nice to have

• Knowledge of IPC standards, ISO 13485, or ISO 9001.
• Experience in vendor management.
• Proficiency in Python for automation and data analysis.
