What you will do

• Provide daily manufacturing support to resolve production defects and implement corrective actions.
• Perform root cause analysis on product field returns to identify and fix manufacturing defects.
• Lead equipment design specifications, vendor selection, FAT, SAT, and validation (IQ/OQ/PQ) activities.
• Troubleshoot and modify automated equipment using PLC platforms, robotics, and vision systems.
• Maintain technical documentation, including electrical schematics, software backups, and operating instructions.
• Ensure all equipment complies with NFPA, OSHA, and FDA safety and regulatory standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electromechanical, or Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience (or Master's + 2 years / PhD).
• Unrestricted U.S. work authorization is required.
• Experience with Rockwell PLCs (ControlLogix, CompactLogix) and HMI development.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting custom PCB boards and firmware.
• Knowledge of NFPA and OSHA safety standards.

Nice to have

• Experience with SCARA robotics and machine vision systems (Cognex, Adept).
• Programming skills in C, C++, and Visual Basic.
• Familiarity with Industrial IoT (IIoT) and manufacturing network architectures.
• Knowledge of servo/stepper motion control systems.
