What you will do

• Deliver complete PCB documentation packages that meet quality system requirements.
• Perform component placement based on electrical, mechanical, and thermal constraints.
• Develop and execute PCB routing strategies to meet high-speed electrical specifications.
• Collaborate with hardware, mechanical, component, and thermal teams to resolve design issues.
• Perform layout verification using Valor to ensure compliance with Design for Manufacturability (DFM).

Requirements

• Electrical/Electronic Technology Diploma or Associate CAD Diploma.
• 5+ years of PCB layout CAD/CAM experience.
• Proficiency in Cadence Allegro and Valor toolsets.
• Expertise in high-speed routing, differential controlled impedance, and EMC/EMI considerations.
• Knowledge of Constraint Manager and mixed analog and high-speed digital circuit design.
• Location: Must be based in Ottawa, Canada.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of PCB manufacturing and assembly processes.
• Familiarity with photonic interfaces and high-speed hardware design.
