TL;DR
Senior PCB/CAD Layout Engineer (PCB Design): Designing and delivering rigid and flexible PCB layouts from feasibility studies through board tape-out with an accent on high-density, high-speed, analog, digital, RF, and mixed-signal designs. Focus on component placement, trace routing, signal and power integrity, fabrication documentation, library management, and coordination with cross-functional engineering teams and external contractors.

What you will do
- Design and implement rigid and flexible PCB layouts for electrical boards.
- Prepare detailed drawings, schematics, DFx/TO packages, fabrication documentation, and final design packages.
- Manage Cadence Allegro tools, CAD utilities, software licenses, component libraries, and component quality processes.
- Apply high-speed digital, analog, RF, mixed-signal, signal-integrity, and power-integrity design practices.
- Define component placement and trace-routing rules while optimizing designs for manufacturability, cost, and reliability.
- Coordinate external PCB design contractors, including quotations, purchase orders, workload planning, and performance management.
Requirements
- 6+ years of PCB layout design and CAD engineering experience with a bachelor's degree, or 4+ years with a master's degree.
- Proficiency with Cadence PCB design tools and PCB layout methodologies.
- Expertise in high-speed digital, analog, RF, and mixed-signal PCB design.
- Experience with PCB fabrication processes, material selection, DFx, regulatory, and quality requirements.
- Experience with component library management, schematic and layout component creation, and symbol creation.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, leadership, project management, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
