What you will do

• Design and implement PCB layouts for all board types, including rigid and flexible circuits.
• Manage and optimize CAD tools, utilities, and software license requirements.
• Create and maintain schematic and layout component libraries and quality assurance processes.
• Manage external PCB design contractors, including quote creation, workload distribution, and performance monitoring.
• Define component placement and trace routing rules for high-density, high-speed, mixed, analog, digital, and RF designs.
• Collaborate with signal and power integrity teams to ensure high-quality board fabrication and reliability.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in PCB layout design and CAD engineering with a Bachelor's degree (or 4+ years with a Master's).
• Proficiency in Cadence PCB design tools.
• Expertise in high-speed digital, analog, RF, and mixed-signal PCB design.
• Experience with PCB fabrication processes and material selection.
• Expertise in implementing DFx, regulatory, and quality requirements.
• Must be based in or able to work on-site in Kulim, Malaysia.

• Familiarity with other industry-standard ECAD tools.
