Project Manager, Operations, Strategies & Solutions (Manufacturing): Leading operational excellence and operations transformation initiatives across Clariant’s U.S. manufacturing network with an accent on cross-functional project leadership, Lean principles, and measurable performance improvement. Focus on conducting operational diagnostics, building transformation roadmaps, leading Digital Lean initiatives, and implementing sustainable changes across multiple sites.
Location: Louisville, Kentucky, USA; hybrid work model. Up to 30% travel to U.S. manufacturing sites, including Mt. Holly, North Carolina, and Clear Lake, Texas.

What you will do
- Lead Operational Excellence and operations transformation initiatives across U.S. sites, business units, and functions.
- Conduct operational maturity assessments, diagnostics, benchmarking, and performance reviews to identify improvement priorities.
- Facilitate leadership workshops and cross-functional teams to create transformation roadmaps, business cases, and implementation plans.
- Manage complex projects and coordinate change adoption with senior management, site leaders, and shop-floor teams.
- Lead Digital Lean initiatives involving analytics, visualization, automation, and performance-management systems.
- Develop operational blueprints, maturity models, standards, dashboards, and best-practice frameworks.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, Manufacturing, Operations Management, or a related field.
- At least five years of relevant experience in operations, manufacturing, Operational Excellence, Manufacturing Excellence, or transformation.
- Experience leading transformation initiatives or complex cross-functional projects with measurable business results.
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing operations, Production Systems, Lean principles, change management, and performance-improvement methodologies.
- Strong stakeholder management, facilitation, communication, coaching, and leadership skills.
- Availability to travel up to 30% to U.S. manufacturing sites.

- Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification.
- PMP certification.
