What you will do

• Lead and mentor a team of cloud engineers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and growth.
• Drive the adoption of AI within the team for both daily operations and large-scale projects.
• Define and enforce cloud engineering best practices to ensure consistency, scalability, and operational excellence.
• Embed DevSecOps principles, ensuring security, monitoring, and automation are built into the infrastructure from the start.
• Collaborate with Product Managers and Engineering Managers to align strategy and turn ideas into executed outcomes.
• Maintain hands-on technical leadership in managing public cloud environments.

Requirements

• Proven track record of leading and delivering complex technical projects.
• Extensive experience managing public cloud environments and applying high availability across multi-cloud architectures.
• Proficiency in IaC technologies, specifically expertise in writing and optimizing Terraform.
• Experience with containerization (Kubernetes, Docker) and building CI/CD pipelines.
• Ability to own the full management remit, including hiring, development, and performance conversations.
• Must be based in or able to work from the London office (hybrid)
