What you will do

• Lead and modernize the UK IT function across automated cold-chain sites to ensure stable and proactive operations.
• Manage first and second line support for MLS, TMS, MFCS, automation, EDI, and infrastructure.
• Ensure effective 24/7 support coverage, including on-call rota oversight and incident triage.
• Establish governance structures and ITIL-aligned processes for incident, change, and problem management.
• Own infrastructure lifecycle planning, cybersecurity posture, and disaster recovery testing.
• Lead, coach, and develop the UK IT team using skills matrices and PDPs.

Requirements

• Must be based in the UK and able to travel regularly between Corby and Wakefield.
• Strong understanding of WMS/TMS platforms and warehouse automation systems.
• Experience with SQL or Progress DB troubleshooting and data analysis.
• Solid grounding in EDI standards, mapping, and integration flows.
• Knowledge of network infrastructure, including switching, VLANs, and Wi-Fi.
• Proven leadership of IT teams within 24/7 operational environments.
