Senior AI-Augmented Laravel Engineer (AI)

Location: Must be a resident of the United States. Workday must overlap by at least 6 hours with Salt Lake City, UT.

Salary: $110,000 - $130,000 USD + Equity + Performance Bonuses

What you will do

• Build and orchestrate AI-native workflows using tools like Claude Code and Gemini to ship features rapidly.
• Architect the automated backbone for trade schools, focusing on scalability and outcomes over raw output.
• Design and optimize complex database structures, ensuring performance for millions of rows.
• Develop and refine RAG implementations using vector databases (pgvector/Pinecone) for natural language data access.
• Collaborate in a high-trust, remote-first environment to translate customer problems into simple software.

Requirements

• Must be a resident of the United States.
• 5+ years of experience shipping production web applications (SaaS preferred).
• Mastery of agentic coding tools (Claude Code, Gemini, Codex) to generate, refactor, and debug code.
• Deep expertise in Laravel 12+, PHP 8.4+, and the Laravel ecosystem (Livewire, Filament).
• Strong intuition for database design, normalization, and query optimization.
• Workday must overlap by at least 6 hours with Salt Lake City, UT.

Nice to have

• Experience with vector databases for AI implementations.
• Experience in a high-velocity startup environment.
