What you will do

• Lead the planning and production of the John Acres Breakfast Show, setting the editorial agenda.
• Generate original storytelling ideas and campaigns that resonate with Devon audiences.
• Collaborate with presenters and journalists across hirify.global South West and the wider hirify.global.
• Ensure all output meets the highest editorial, production, and compliance standards.
• Use audience insight and data to optimize content and maintain program reach.

Requirements

• Considerable experience producing live radio or audio content in a newsroom or broadcast environment.
• Strong journalistic judgement and ability to develop stories for local audiences.
• Proven track record in creative storytelling for radio and social media.
• Experience providing clear editorial direction and feedback to presenters.
• Thorough understanding of hirify.global Editorial Guidelines and media law.

• Experience producing breakfast programmes or high-profile live output.
• Proven success creating content for digital, social, and on-demand platforms.
