What you will do

• Own the end-to-end technical architecture of AI and LLM systems, from framework selection to production deployment.
• Build reusable platform components including model gateways, permission-aware RAG, and agent orchestration.
• Translate security and compliance policies into technical controls for data classification, PII protection, and RBAC.
• Establish evaluation and observability frameworks to monitor quality, safety, latency, and drift.
• Partner with product and business teams to deliver dependable AI solutions with appropriate human oversight.
• Maintain a modular, vendor-neutral architecture to avoid lock-in with specific model providers.

Requirements

• 5+ years of software engineering experience with strong Python and production backend/API ownership.
• Hands-on production experience with agent SDKs like LangChain, LangGraph, or Semantic Kernel.
• Experience building permission-aware RAG pipelines and working with vector stores like pgvector or Pinecone.
• Strong cloud-native engineering fundamentals and experience with evaluation/tracing tools like LangSmith or Ragas.
• Experience implementing security guardrails and fine-grained permissions using tools like OPA or OpenFGA.
• Ability to translate ambiguous problems into scoped milestones and reliable, shipped software.

Nice to have

• Experience handling sensitive data in regulated environments such as fintech or banking (GDPR, SOC 2, PCI).
• Knowledge of model gateways, multi-provider routing, and LLM cost controls.
• Working knowledge of TypeScript/React or internal developer platforms.
