Senior Software Quality Engineer I

What you will do

• Design, test, support, and deploy advanced technology solutions for small-scale projects.
• Review software requirements, contribute to estimations, and ensure quality in intermediate-complexity solution designs.
• Design and review test scripts and scenarios using business and life insurance knowledge.
• Contribute to test automation, regression suites, and quality governance.
• Identify continuous improvement opportunities and drive implementation across existing solutions.
• Support technical issue resolution, participate in candidate interviews, and mentor junior engineers, interns, or new hires.

Requirements

• Advanced experience in quality engineering, software testing, support, and system administration.
• Experience with at least two test automation frameworks or tools, such as Tosca, Cucumber, Selenium, Appium, Ready API, or Rest Assured.
• Ability to design high-complexity automation scripts using existing tools and frameworks.
• Knowledge of software development and deployment methodologies, secure coding practices, Agile, and DevOps principles.
• Strong knowledge of DevOps and/or cloud technologies, JIRA, Bitbucket, Jenkins, and mobile testing.
• Understanding of life insurance concepts and their application to business systems.
