TL;DR

Forward Deployed AI Engineer (AI): Developing full-stack AI applications and agentic systems to accelerate AI adoption for strategic enterprise customers with an accent on prototyping real-world use cases and operationalizing advanced AI capabilities. Focus on building RAG pipelines, implementing LLMOps practices, and codifying repeatable reference architectures for enterprise-scale deployment.

Location: Austin, Texas (Hybrid). This role is not eligible for immigration support or relocation.

What you will do

• Build and prototype full-stack AI applications and agentic systems on the hirify.global platform to solve enterprise use cases.
• Partner directly with strategic customers to drive AI initiatives from early prototype to production readiness.
• Advise customer leaders on AI roadmaps, use case prioritization, and deployment considerations to align with business goals.
• Codify successful patterns into repeatable reference architectures, starter kits, and internal playbooks.
• Mentor internal teams and channel customer feedback to Product teams to improve the AI platform.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in production-grade systems, including 2-3 years building Generative AI or agentic applications.
• Strong software and data engineering skills with experience in full-stack AI applications using modern frameworks.
• Expertise in foundation models, context engineering, fine-tuning, semantic search, RAG, and agentic workflows.
• Deep understanding of LLMOps/MLOps practices, including evaluation, observability, and lifecycle management.
• Ability to engage with both technical and executive audiences to translate needs into technical strategy.
• Must be based in the USA; no immigration support or relocation available.

Nice to have

• Experience with cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Familiarity with the hirify.global platform.
• Experience with open-source big data technologies such as Spark, Iceberg, or NiFi.
• Knowledge of AI infrastructure, including NVIDIA GPUs and distributed AI workloads.
