What you will do

• Develop, maintain, and optimise SQL Server databases, stored procedures, views, and functions.
• Design relational database structures and troubleshoot production issues to improve reliability and scalability.
• Collaborate with developers and stakeholders to deliver technical solutions and support system upgrades.
• Produce technical documentation and promote development standards and best practices.

Requirements

• Strong commercial experience with Microsoft SQL Server, T-SQL, and relational database design in production environments.
• Proven experience writing and optimising complex queries, stored procedures, and database performance.
• Experience supporting business-critical applications and resolving data quality issues.
• Must be available for hybrid work based in Dartford, UK.

Nice to have

• Experience with SQL Server Always On or high-availability environments.
