What you will do

• Advise product and engineering teams on designing secure, highly available, and privacy-aware services.
• Lead threat modeling and security assessments for new and evolving products, translating findings into actionable recommendations.
• Partner with leadership to embed security requirements into product roadmaps and design reviews.
• Drive the adoption and application of Generative AI and AI-enabled security tooling across the organization.
• Implement AI-driven automation for the continuous verification of product security controls.
• Mentor and coach engineers and architects to raise the bar on security literacy and design thinking.

Requirements

• Must be based in the US (San Jose, Austin, or Seattle)
• 10+ years of experience in product security and development.
• Extensive expertise in application threat modeling and architecture risk reviews.
• Significant recent experience applying Generative AI in software development within a large enterprise.
• Deep understanding of modern CI/CD practices and agentic architectures (SDKs, MCPs, context engineering).
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience.

Nice to have

• Expertise in AWS, Kubernetes, Docker, and cloud-native orchestration.
• Experience with secure service-to-service communication and token-based auth in microservices architectures.
• Track record of evolving security architecture standards and guardrails for multi-tenant platforms.
• Familiarity with AI/ML-enabled code analysis and anomaly detection.
