What you will do

• Implement and mature a software assurance model that embeds security into the early stages of the development lifecycle.
• Perform threat modeling and security design reviews for new features and product releases.
• Triage external security inquiries and conduct manual code reviews to identify and remediate flaws.
• Design and deploy automated security controls using open-source tools to protect the cloud platform.
• Facilitate internal training and workshops to foster a security-first culture across the organization.

Requirements

• 6+ years of Application Security experience partnering with developers in a SaaS environment.
• Strong hands-on coding proficiency in Python and shell scripting for building security automation.
• Practical ability to manually identify and exploit security flaws in web applications and RESTful APIs.
• Experience deploying and hardening containerized environments using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Must be based in the US and aligned with the Eastern Time Zone.

Nice to have

• Prior experience securing products heavily reliant on ML or AI components.
• Experience managing open-source security tools for AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Experience designing secure microservice architectures and distributed systems.
