What you will do

• Integrate security practices throughout the software development lifecycle to mature software assurance.
• Perform security design reviews, threat modeling, and risk assessments for new features and architectural changes.
• Partner with engineering teams to provide actionable guidance on secure coding and vulnerability remediation.
• Design and automate security controls using open-source tools to detect and respond to threats against cloud platforms.
• Build security automation and tooling to improve monitoring and vulnerability detection.
• Promote a security-first culture through training, workshops, and the application of modern AI tools.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in application security, ideally within SaaS or cloud-based environments.
• Strong programming skills in Python and shell scripting for building security automation.
• Proven experience identifying and exploiting web application and REST API vulnerabilities.
• Hands-on experience securing containerized environments using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Strong understanding of cloud security principles (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
• Must be based in the United States.

• Experience securing AI or machine learning-based products.
• Knowledge of microservice architectures and distributed systems.
• Experience managing cloud security tooling and open-source security solutions.
