What you will do

• Execute daily client asset computations, client money lock-up calculations, custody asset segregation, and regulatory reporting.
• Investigate operational exceptions, identify root causes, and report issues and solutions.
• Coordinate Client Assets matters across Operations, Engineering, Legal, Compliance, senior management, and other stakeholders.
• Review operational processes and controls for compliance with Japan, Australia, and equivalent Asia regulatory requirements.
• Implement new processes and controls in response to regulatory changes and new business initiatives.
• Support regulatory inspections, information requests, external audits, and CASS compliance evidence submissions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of experience, preferably in banking, with working knowledge of Asia regulations.
• Strong risk management, sound judgment, organizational, prioritization, and project management skills.
• Ability to investigate detailed Operations and Engineering processes and manage multiple deliverables within deadlines.
• Strong communication skills for explaining issues and solutions to a broad range of stakeholders.
• Experience with low-code development tools such as Alteryx or SQL is advantageous.
