Sony Interactive Entertainment is seeking a Director to lead technical program execution and engineering business operations for a globally distributed engineering organization.

What you will do

• Lead, mentor, and grow the Americas-based FSEE TPM team, building ownership, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
• Define operating models, delivery standards, governance, and reporting mechanisms for complex cross-functional programs.
• Partner with engineering, product, architecture, and operations leaders to execute strategic initiatives across FSEE.
• Own engineering business operations: annual planning, quarterly business reviews, goal setting, and leadership operating cadences.
• Drive operational excellence using metrics, dashboards, and KPIs; manage workforce planning, budget management, and investment prioritization.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to the VP and Engineering Leadership Team, facilitating executive decision-making and accountability on commitments.

Requirements

• 12+ years of experience leading complex technical programs in software, platform, infrastructure, cloud, or related engineering organizations.
• 5+ years of experience managing Technical Program Managers, Program Managers, or similar functions.
• Proven track record leading large-scale, cross-functional initiatives with senior stakeholders without direct authority.
• Strong people leadership experience building and growing high-performing teams.
• Exceptional written, verbal, and executive communication skills.
• Experience with annual planning, portfolio management, organizational operations, and executive reviews; solid understanding of software development lifecycles and engineering architectures.
