Engineering Manager (AI)

What you will do

• Lead product engineering to ship reliable, polished products used by millions of people.
• Stay hands-on by prototyping, fixing bugs, de-risking projects, and improving engineering workflows.
• Set technical direction and make architectural decisions for a simple, reliable, and fast-moving product stack.
• Own software quality across reliability, security, performance, deployment, and production operations.
• Grow, hire, and develop a talented engineering team while setting a high performance bar.
• Partner closely with product and design to create useful, delightful products.

Requirements

• 10+ years of software engineering experience, including 5+ years managing a team of 5+ engineers.
• Experience leading complex projects and delivering products with measurable outcomes.
• Full-stack product engineering experience with deep expertise in scalable web infrastructure and distributed systems serving millions of users.
• Experience building products centered on AI and software for consumer hardware.
• Experience with Python, TypeScript, GCP, and Kubernetes.
• Strong judgment in product quality, secure software, reliability, performance, and technical architecture.
