Technical Account Manager (IAM)

Location: Remote (Must reside in Pacific, Mountain, or Central US timezones)

Salary: $128,000 — $160,000 USD (OTE)

What you will do

• Act as a trusted technical advisor for large customers, designing identity strategies aligned with business objectives.
• Provide expert guidance on implementing and optimizing Okta’s Workforce Identity solutions.
• Collaborate with Customer Success and Account teams to execute strategic success plans and increase subscription adoption.
• Resolve technical challenges by coordinating with internal engineering and support teams.
• Conduct enablement sessions, workshops, and training to drive technical success and product adoption.
• Monitor customer health metrics and influence behavior to ensure long-term retention.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in IT, cloud platforms, or the software industry.
• 1+ years of experience as a TAM, Technical Consultant, or Solution Architect.
• 1+ years of experience in Identity and Access Management (IAM), including SSO, MFA, and lifecycle management.
• Deep knowledge of SAML 2.0, OAuth, OpenID Connect, and SCIM.
• Must reside in Pacific, Mountain, or Central US timezones.
• BA/BS/MS in Computer Science, IT, or equivalent work experience.

Nice to have

• Relevant certifications such as Okta Certified or CISSP.
• Experience with hybrid IT environments and legacy application integration.
