What you will do
- Define long-term product strategy for how onX collects, structures, and activates customer-generated data as a foundational platform capability.
- Lead discovery across customer needs, contribution behaviors, and product opportunities to create a roadmap with measurable outcomes.
- Own shared platform capabilities that enable multiple vertical teams to build customer-facing contribution experiences.
- Drive alignment across product, design, and engineering by championing the platform vision and communicating decisions and tradeoffs.
- Lead a cross-functional squad through discovery, product definition, delivery, measurement, and iteration.
- Ensure customer trust, data quality, and responsible data use; use AI throughout the product lifecycle while validating outputs with product judgment.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience leading software products or platforms, including 4+ years in product management.
- Experience building platform capabilities that enable mobile applications.
- Experience with 0-to-1 or discovery-driven initiatives in ambiguous problem spaces.
- Experience building platform/shared services such as developer-facing products, APIs, or SDKs adopted by multiple internal teams.
- Strong cross-functional leadership in a matrixed environment without direct authority.
- Permanent US work authorization is required. Ability to travel quarterly for multiple days to a corporate office or other onX strategic location.
