Location: Remote (Must be based in the U.S.)

Salary: $225,000 – $265,000 + Equity

What you will do

• Set a clear vision and sequenced roadmap for hirify.global Inference in partnership with engineering.
• Develop a model layer that becomes the default choice for developers over direct provider integration.
• Strategically evaluate and integrate models, providers, and modalities to maintain a competitive edge.
• Optimize the value delivered to customers by consolidating model spend and improving cost-efficiency.
• Analyze customer usage data in production to shape priorities and product direction.

Requirements

• 8+ years of product management experience at a senior or staff level.
• Proven track record owning developer-facing APIs, platforms, or AI/ML products.
• Strong technical depth in model serving, routing, latency, and quality tradeoffs.
• Ability to influence autonomous engineering teams through clarity and trust.
• Exceptional communication skills for both board-level strategy and detailed technical discussions.
• Must be based in the United States.

Nice to have

• Experience building model gateways, inference APIs, or AI/ML platforms.
• Familiarity with model benchmarking and performance metrics (e.g., TTFT).
• Knowledge of STT, TTS, LLM, and real-time model providers.
• Background at a developer tools or API infrastructure company.
• Experience with usage-based pricing models and margin optimization.
