Production Intern (Sports)

TL;DR

What you will do

• Assist with weekly studio productions, including setup, operation, and reset.
• Support live REMI productions before, during, and after broadcasts.
• Prepare, test, and organize production equipment and inventory for upcoming events.
• Assist with graphics creation, show building, and quality control for live productions.
• Support podcast production, including studio setup, recording, and post-production workflows.
• Collaborate with Production, Studio, Graphics, and Operations teams on scheduling and staffing.

Requirements

• Interest in live sports production and a desire to learn the production process.
• Coursework or experience in live streaming, broadcast production, or digital media.
• Basic understanding of storytelling, camera operation, editing, lighting, and audio.
• Familiarity with on-site, remote, and cloud-based production workflows.
• Must be based in Austin, TX for this on-site internship.
• Strong communication skills and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with OBS, vMix, and Blackmagic ATEM.
• Experience with broadcast graphics systems like Chyron, Xpression, Singular, or Scorecard.
• Knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud (Premiere Pro, Photoshop, After Effects).
• Experience with Panasonic and Marshall POV cameras and fiber optic connectivity.
• Proficiency in G-Suite and Microsoft Office programs.
