What you will do
- Purchase production materials and obtain quotes to ensure uninterrupted production based on forecasts and sales orders.
- Manage supplier selection, qualification, and onboarding processes for new or replacement services.
- Track order statuses and maintain precise delivery schedules within the ERP system.
- Coordinate with transportation companies and customs brokers to ensure prompt delivery of goods.
- Support New Product Introduction (NPI) programs by sourcing, quoting, and placing purchase orders.
- Drive cost savings within assigned commodities and participate in Lean/EOS activities (A3, VSM).
Requirements
- Post-secondary education in a business-related discipline.
- Certification or current enrollment in a Professional Purchasing Certification Program (ASCM).
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, V-Lookups).
- Excellent English verbal and written skills for professional business report writing.
- Ability to work within a diverse team environment and embrace new technological platforms.
Nice to have
- Experience working in ISO 9001, 14001, 13485 certified, or FDA QSR compliant environments.
