What you will do

• Purchase production materials and obtain quotes to ensure uninterrupted production based on forecasts and sales orders.
• Manage supplier selection, qualification, and onboarding processes for new or replacement services.
• Track order statuses and maintain precise delivery schedules within the ERP system.
• Coordinate with transportation companies and customs brokers to ensure prompt delivery of goods.
• Support New Product Introduction (NPI) programs by sourcing, quoting, and placing purchase orders.
• Drive cost savings within assigned commodities and participate in Lean/EOS activities (A3, VSM).

Requirements

• Post-secondary education in a business-related discipline.
• Certification or current enrollment in a Professional Purchasing Certification Program (ASCM).
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, V-Lookups).
• Excellent English verbal and written skills for professional business report writing.
• Ability to work within a diverse team environment and embrace new technological platforms.

Nice to have

• Experience working in ISO 9001, 14001, 13485 certified, or FDA QSR compliant environments.
