Sr. Learning Experience Designer (East Coast) - ILT/VILT (AI)

Location: Remote within approved hirify.global operating countries: the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Australia, and Singapore. Schedule flexibility is required for meetings across the United States, Europe, the Middle East, and Asia.

Annual salary: $75,000–$80,000 USD for US-based locations. Country-specific pay ranges and benefits apply to non-US locations.

What you will do

• Lead the design and development of scalable learning programs for enterprise, technical, professional, leadership, and workplace technology audiences.
• Own client-facing discovery and design processes, including requirements gathering, learning outcomes, timelines, scope, resourcing, and quality.
• Create instructor-led training materials such as slides, hands-on labs, case studies, simulations, assessments, facilitator guides, and learner workbooks.
• Design practical activities using AI and workplace tools, including tool walkthroughs, prompt refinement, workflow mapping, coding challenges, and business simulations.
• Enable instructors and collaborate with SMEs, product managers, learning designers, vendors, and client-facing teams to tailor programs for diverse audiences.
• Build reusable learning components, templates, activities, assessments, and AI-enabled patterns to support GA productization.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in instructional design, learning experience design, curriculum design, or a related field, including significant instructor-led training experience.
• Experience designing outcome-driven learning for enterprise, professional, technical, or workplace audiences.
• Strong knowledge of instructional design methodologies, including Bloom’s Taxonomy, ADDIE, experiential learning, practice-based learning, and adult learning principles.
• Hands-on fluency with current AI tools and strong knowledge of generative AI, large language models, prompt engineering, machine learning, AI agents, ethical AI, responsible use, and enterprise AI adoption.
• Experience managing clients, stakeholders, SMEs, instructors, vendors, or cross-functional partners through content development.
• Familiarity with LMS platforms, content management systems, and authoring tools; willingness to flex schedules for international time zones.

Nice to have

• Technical proficiency in AI, data science, or coding, including Python, APIs, TensorFlow, PyTorch, or similar frameworks.
• Experience with GitHub, virtual machines, cloud-based labs, sandbox environments, or technical learning environments.
• Experience designing AI training labs, coding exercises, model-building workshops, enterprise AI adoption programs, or role-based AI academies.
• Experience integrating AI-driven personalization, adaptive learning, or AI-supported learner practice into course design.
