Principal Security Engineer (AI)

TL;DR

Principal Security Engineer (AI/Cloud Infrastructure): Owning full-stack security and 24/7 security operations for AI Data Centers across the Americas with an accent on detection engineering, incident response, and infrastructure hardening. What you will do

• Lead 7×24 security operations and incident response for AI Data Centers in California, Tennessee, and Washington.
• Develop SIEM detection rules for GPU cloud attack scenarios and conduct hypothesis-driven threat hunting campaigns.
• Perform security hardening for AIDC infrastructure, including KVM/QEMU, BMC/IPMI, and Linux baselines.
• Manage perimeter defense, DDoS mitigation, and east-west traffic analysis using NetFlow/IPFIX.
• Act as the primary interface for US customer security incidents and handle US law enforcement requests.
• Coordinate security handoffs, compliance efforts (SOC 2), and reporting with the Singapore HQ.

Requirements

• 10+ years of information security experience, with 5+ years focused on cloud infrastructure/IaaS/data center security.
• Proven experience as an Incident Commander leading high-severity (P0/P1) security incidents.
• Deep expertise in Linux system security, TCP/IP, virtualization (KVM/QEMU), and Kubernetes.
• Strong proficiency in Python and Shell scripting.
• Professional fluency in both English and Mandarin Chinese is required.
• Ability to participate in a 7×24 on-call rotation and daily coordination with Singapore (SGT).
• Industry certification: GCIH, GCIA, GCFA, OSCP, CISSP, or CCSP.

Nice to have

• Programming skills in Go or Rust.
• Experience with eBPF technology stack (Tetragon, Falco, Cilium).
