What you will do

• Conduct user research across personas including tenants, landlords, contractors, and agents to drive design decisions.
• Design end-to-end flows, wireframes, and high-fidelity UIs for customer-facing portals and internal back-office tools.
• Establish and maintain a shared design system, component library, and reusable patterns from scratch.
• Partner with engineering and product managers to translate requirements into shippable designs, balancing craft with speed.
• Introduce lightweight design workflows, documentation, and handoff practices suited for an early-stage team.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in product design with a strong portfolio.
• Proven experience designing both complex operational/B2B tools and consumer-facing products.
• Ability to prototype and ship designs quickly and independently with the help of AI.
• Strong systems thinking and exceptional attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills across product and engineering.

Nice to have

• Experience building or contributing to a design system from scratch.
• Experience designing operational or back-office tools in tech-enabled businesses.
