TL;DR

Lead Product Designer (PropTech): Designing and scaling delightful user experiences for the UK property market with an accent on strategic design vision and AI integration. Focus on solving complex cross-cutting design problems and defining success metrics for product domains.

Location: Hybrid in Manchester (up to 4 days WFH). Must be eligible to live and work in the UK.

Salary: £70,000 – £90,000

What you will do

  • Own the design vision and execution for a product domain, translating strategic direction into high-impact design work.
  • Set the craft bar for the organization through exemplary output and reference designs.
  • Solve cross-cutting design problems across multiple features and surfaces to ensure a coherent user experience.
  • Mentor and elevate other designers through critique, pairing, and professional modeling.
  • Strategically drive AI implementation in both internal workflows and user-facing product features.

Requirements

  • Approximately 8+ years of Product/UX Design experience with a track record at senior IC level.
  • Ability to define success measures upfront and validate results using metrics and customer feedback.
  • Commercial fluency with the ability to make design trade-offs informed by business goals.
  • Strong fluency in AI applications for product design (non-negotiable).
  • Must be eligible to live and work in the UK.

Nice to have

  • Experience working with SaaS or other complex product environments.
  • Previous experience in line-management or a desire to manage a small team.
