What you will do

• Draft and argue dispositive motions including summary judgments, demurrers, and motions to dismiss.
• Manage appellate matters from inception to resolution, including brief writing and oral arguments.
• Conduct in-depth legal research to develop cutting-edge defense strategies.
• Collaborate with trial teams to ensure strong legal positioning throughout litigation.
• Monitor emerging case law to influence insurance defense precedent.
• Maintain strict deadlines and manage electronic case files and records.

Requirements

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
• Active license to practice law in California.
• 3-5+ years of experience in insurance defense, law and motion, or appellate practice.
• Proven success in drafting and arguing dispositive motions.
• Strong proficiency with legal research platforms like Westlaw or LexisNexis.
• Exceptional writing skills with keen attention to detail.
