Materials Specialist (Aviation)

Salary: $18.50 per hour (approx. $3,203 per month)

What you will do

• Oversee daily Material Stores and Line Material operations to ensure inventory accuracy and efficient parts issuing.
• Perform data entry into the inventory system for locating, receiving, and shipping of materials and tools.
• Collaborate with Maintenance Operations Control (MOC) for the movement of equipment during Aircraft on Ground (AOG) recovery.
• Conduct physical inventory audits and reconciliations in compliance with the General Maintenance Manual (GMM).
• Prepare Hazmat shipments according to International Air Transport Association (IATA) regulations.
• Coordinate with Engineering and Maintenance Planning to prepare fleet modification kits.

Requirements

• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
• High school diploma and minimum 1 year of experience in data entry or inventory management.
• Valid Driver’s License and ability to operate 5K & 15K forklifts and other Ground Service Equipment.
• Fluent English proficiency required.
• Ability to pass a 10-year background check and obtain a SIDA badge per TSA requirements.
• Physical ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in confined spaces (climbing, kneeling, crawling).

Nice to have

• 4-year degree in Business, Aerospace, or a technical school certificate.
• Experience with the TRAX (M&E) Inventory system.
• Previous experience in a warehouse or stockroom environment.
• Valid Passport with no travel restrictions.
