Material Tech (Logistics)

Location: Onsite in Fayetteville, TN

Salary: $20 per hour

What you will do

• Plan and coordinate the flow of purchased components to support manufacturing processes based on lead times.
• Manage material replenishment systems using electronic kanban, kanban cards, and labels.
• Communicate with suppliers to expedite or de-expedite orders and resolve delivery issues.
• Train, coach, and coordinate the activities of material handlers and parts pickers.
• Implement corrective actions for root causes of material-related production interruptions.
• Maintain the Manufacturing Order (MO) system and control serial numbers for finished goods.

Requirements

• Minimum of one year of related experience and/or training.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without requiring sponsorship now or in the future.
• Forklift and high lift certification preferred.
• Associate’s Degree is a plus.
