Salary: $75,800 - $127,794 USD

What you will do

• Develop online IT administrator documentation, KB-style articles, and in-app labels/messages.
• Collaborate with Product Management, Engineering, UX/UI, DevOps, QA, and Support teams in a continuous delivery environment.
• Serve as the lead writer for one or more products, managing timelines and cross-team coordination.
• Analyze the information needs of target audiences to organize and develop effective technical documentation.
• Evaluate and implement improvements to documentation structures and internal team processes.

Requirements

• 8+ years of professional writing experience.
• Degree in English or a related field.
• Advanced proficiency in writing and formatting content using Markdown.
• Proven experience writing for technical audiences, specifically IT administrators.
• Strong ability to research and experiment with unfamiliar technical subject matter.
• Must be based in the USA.

Nice to have

• Professional writing experience specifically for SaaS products.
• Experience with CI/CD pipeline management.
• Familiarity with content strategy, SEO, and information architecture.
• Working knowledge of HTML and CSS for online content delivery.
• Understanding of identity management, governance, and compliance.
• Experience with Agile methodologies and issue tracking tools.
