Solutions Architect, Lead (DoD): Designing and supporting the deployment of reliable, secure enterprise networks for the Department of Defense with an accent on Zero Trust architecture, cloud integration, and cybersecurity compliance. Focus on leading cross-functional teams, resolving complex interoperability issues, and modernizing network infrastructure to meet strategic mission requirements.

Location: Must be based in the United States (Scott AFB, IL or McLean, VA). This role may require occasional on-site work at Booz Allen or customer facilities.

Compensation: $86,800–$198,000 (annualized USD).

What you will do

• Collaborate with SMEs, customers, and vendors to define strategic network and security requirements.
• Lead the planning, acquisition, installation, and configuration of network, cloud, and security components.
• Design and implement Zero Trust solutions in alignment with NIST 800-207 and DoD standards.
• Resolve complex interoperability issues across diverse platforms.
• Automate networking systems and modernize existing solutions using cloud technologies.
• Guide senior leaders and executives in executing cybersecurity capability maturation.

Requirements

• Must hold an active Secret clearance.
• 8+ years of experience in network architecture and design for large, complex organizations.
• 4+ years of experience with cybersecurity.
• Proven experience architecting Zero Trust solutions and roadmaps.
• Experience selecting and implementing security tools for federal or commercial organizations.
• HS diploma or GED required.

Nice to have

• Experience with cybersecurity compliance, operations, or engineering leadership.
• Knowledge of innovative capabilities including AI, machine learning, NGFW, and Big Data.
• Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
