Senior Software Architect, Platform Engineering (Cybersecurity)

Base pay range: $245,000–$350,000 USD annually

What you will do

• Provide technical leadership for the design, development, and optimization of the enterprise identity platform.
• Define the technical roadmap for the Kubernetes platform and architect centralized IAM solutions for enterprise-scale requirements.
• Develop identity management products using Java, public cloud environments, and security-focused architectures.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to improve support for the Common Identity platform.
• Drive cost-effective product growth, technical strategy, and team member development.

Requirements

• 8+ years of hands-on application architecture and Java development experience, including enterprise security or networking products.
• Expert knowledge of Enterprise Java, OOP, OOA, systems architecture, RESTful APIs, Hibernate, and Spring.
• Expertise with Docker, Kubernetes, and massive-scale Kubernetes clusters in AWS and GCP.
• Experience architecting secure, highly automated CI/CD pipelines using technologies such as GitOps, ArgoCD, Jenkins, or GitLab CI.
• Expertise in GSLB, cloud load balancers, Kubernetes Ingress Controllers, PKI, SAML, OAuth, and OpenID Connect.
• Foundational AI/ML knowledge and experience leveraging, securing, or positioning AI-driven solutions.

Nice to have

• Experience using AI technologies and workflows to improve operational efficiency.
• Experience building identity platforms or hyperscale Kubernetes platforms.
