What you will do

• Lead and develop a skilled hourly team responsible for machining and assembly of prototype components.
• Manage execution of work requests to ensure delivery to safety, quality, cost, and timing expectations.
• Plan and prioritize work, including procurement of materials, tooling, and components.
• Drive cross-functional collaboration with PPO, Quality, and Engineering teams to support launch excellence.
• Coach team members on continuous improvement behaviors and standardized work practices.
• Track and communicate team performance against business metrics and scorecard goals.

Requirements

• 3+ years of manufacturing experience with demonstrated technical capability.
• Proven people leadership experience managing hourly or production teams.
• Working knowledge of manufacturing processes, equipment, and safety policies.
• Ability to manage multiple projects with high accountability and follow-through.
• Must be authorized to work in the US without company sponsorship.
• Must be able to work onsite in Pontiac, Michigan.

Nice to have

• Experience leading in high-volume or complex manufacturing environments.
• Background in process engineering or related functions.
• Familiarity with labor agreements and Kronos timekeeping systems.
