Salary: $111,000–$167,000 USD per year

What you will do
- Develop Android applications and reusable shared mobile components.
- Design and evolve shared UI foundations, Android frameworks, and scalable component patterns.
- Translate UX designs into accessible, maintainable, and consistent Android implementations.
- Collaborate with engineers, product owners, designers, architects, and iOS teams to solve complex product challenges.
- Improve accessibility, performance, reliability, developer experience, and cross-platform consistency.
- Write unit tests, support automated functional testing, participate in code reviews, and share technical knowledge.
Requirements
- Hands-on Android development experience with Kotlin, Jetpack, Coroutines, and Android architecture components.
- Experience with Jetpack Compose, Android architecture patterns such as MVVM or clean architecture, and production mobile applications.
- Experience with continuous integration, automated testing, mobile release workflows, and unit, UI, or integration testing.
- Experience collaborating with designers and cross-functional product teams, with familiarity with accessibility and inclusive design principles.
- Experience integrating REST APIs, GraphQL, or other services.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience, plus 3+ years of professional software development experience including Android development.
Nice to have
- Experience with peripherals, wearables, Bluetooth, reusable UI libraries, mobile design systems, or modular Android architectures.
- Experience with Gradle, dependency management, scalable builds, performance profiling, accessibility testing, and mobile quality practices.
- Experience with Android distribution, observability, crash reporting, and analytics tools.
- Experience collaborating with iOS engineers on consistent cross-platform experiences.
