Senior Frontend Engineer

TL;DR

Senior Frontend Engineer (Flutter/React): Build and enhance cross-platform mobile apps and web admin tools for a robotics-powered wellness platform with an accent on integrating hardware telemetry into user interfaces. Focus on owning full request lifecycles, enforcing code quality, and contributing to platform architecture decisions like state management and CI/CD.

Location: Hybrid full-time role based in New York City office; ability to work on-site in NYC required

Salary: $160,000-$200,000

What you will do

• Build and enhance features for cross-platform Flutter/Dart mobile applications connecting customers to the marketplace.
• Collaborate with robotics and backend teams to create React/Next.js web interfaces from hardware telemetry for partners and staff.
• Integrate with Go microservices, owning API contracts through to user-facing state management.
• Enforce code quality, testing, and architecture best practices across the frontend codebase.
• Contribute to decisions on state management, navigation, components, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Champion modern tools like AI-assisted development and automated testing for team collaboration.

Requirements

• Ability to work on-site in our NYC office
• Proficiency building production mobile or cross-platform apps with Flutter/Dart or similar (React Native, SwiftUI, Jetpack Compose).
• Experience with React and TypeScript for web; building production Next.js apps with modern patterns.
• Solid understanding of REST API integration, authentication, and client-side state management.
• Experience with mobile release pipelines, CI/CD, and multi-environment deployments.
• Bias toward action with iterative shipping and owning quality end-to-end.

Nice to have

• Experience with Kotlin/Jetpack Compose, C#/Unity, or Go.
