What you will do

• Prepare supplies and PPE, access daily schedules, and travel to patients’ homes using a reliable vehicle.
• Perform preventative and diagnostic services including phlebotomy/specimen collection, diabetic foot screenings, retina exams, and ECGs.
• Use mobile devices for charting and HIPAA-secure messaging apps for care coordination.
• Collect, label, and manage specimens, then coordinate drop-off to the appropriate lab or shipment facility.
• Provide compassionate, patient-friendly care and gather relevant patient information during visits.

Requirements

• Professional, dependable, accountable, and compassionate approach to patient care with strong integrity and confidentiality.
• Technologically savvy; comfortable using mobile devices for charting and HIPAA-secure messaging apps.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to work independently and/or in a team.
• Previous experience in venipuncture; reliable transportation and ability to physically access patient homes (including stairs) and carry up to 20 pounds.
• Valid clinical license search requirements, pass national background check and DMV check.
• State-required licensure and/or proof of training; national certification where state licensure is not required; Basic Life Support certification; valid driver’s license and current vehicle insurance.
