What you will do

• Perform venipunctures and finger sticks to obtain high-quality blood specimens.
• Ensure specimen integrity using aseptic techniques and strict department procedures.
• Verify test requisitions and patient identification to maintain data accuracy.
• Manage logistical tasks, including printing patient reports and scheduling courier pickups via FedEx or Medspeed.
• Handle billing inquiries and perform necessary follow-ups with patients.
• Maintain a safe and healthy work environment in compliance with legal and JCAHO standards.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of phlebotomy experience.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy Certificate (where required by State).
• Must be based in San Antonio, TX.
• Ability to adhere to professional standards and hospital policies.
