What you will do

• Perform venipunctures and finger sticks while maintaining specimen integrity.
• Verify patient identification and test requisitions to ensure accuracy.
• Maintain quality control logs and report discrepancies to unit personnel.
• Manage patient reports and coordinate courier pickups for specimen transport.
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA, PHI privacy, and JCAHO safety standards.
• Assist with billing inquiries and triage follow-ups with patients.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of phlebotomy experience required.
• Must be able to work onsite in Union, NJ.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Phlebotomy Certificate (if required by state).
• Ability to handle PHI and complete mandatory compliance training within 30 days.
