Strategic Sourcing Manager (Automotive)

What you will do

• Execute indirect category strategies for Packaging, Chemicals, Software, IT services, and CAPEX.
• Lead RFIs, RFQs, and RFPs to achieve optimal cost, quality, and risk outcomes.
• Manage the full sourcing cycle from business needs definition to contract implementation.
• Negotiate commercial terms and conditions in collaboration with Legal, Finance, and IT.
• Monitor supplier KPIs and performance through regular business reviews and corrective actions.
• Identify opportunities for demand aggregation and supplier consolidation across sites.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or business; MBA preferred.
• 5–10 years of strategic sourcing or category management experience.
• Experience in indirect procurement within a multinational manufacturing or automotive environment.
• Proven track record in contracting complex categories like software and CAPEX.
• Fluent English proficiency required.
• Ability to travel up to 25% depending on project requirements.
