What you will do

• Conduct individual and group counseling sessions for alcohol and drug abuse.
• Develop, implement, and revise comprehensive patient treatment plans and maintain records.
• Perform intake and readmission services, including crisis intervention and supportive counseling.
• Assess social, educational, and vocational information to support patient goal achievement.
• Coordinate patient care with various community providers and agencies.
• Ensure full compliance with federal, state, and accrediting agency regulatory requirements.

Requirements

• Must possess a Bachelor's or Master's degree in a human service-related field.
• Must have current valid counseling credentials/licensure (e.g., LAC, LPC, LCSW, LSW, ADC) as required by the state.
• Knowledge of substance abuse populations and treatment planning.
• Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with professional judgment.
• Ability to make effective decisions quickly in stressful or undesirable situations.
