Principal Product Manager, ZIA (Cybersecurity)

Location: Hybrid role based in San Jose, California, USA

Salary: $171,500–$245,000 USD base salary per year

What you will do

• Define and drive the hirify.global Internet Access product offering and roadmap.
• Lead initiatives covering endpoint security, sandboxing, anti-malware, TLS inspection, post-quantum cryptography, PKI, and cryptography standards.
• Develop secure web gateway and proxy product strategies aligned with customer needs and company objectives.
• Collaborate with engineering, sales, marketing, and customer success to launch and grow products.
• Engage customers to understand security challenges, gather feedback, and identify opportunities.
• Manage the full product lifecycle and provide subject-matter expertise, training, and support to cross-functional teams.

Requirements

• Proven product management experience focused on cybersecurity solutions.
• Foundational understanding of AI/ML technologies and experience with AI-driven solutions.
• Technical proficiency in proxy architecture, secure web gateways, HTTP/S, and SSL/TLS inspection at scale.
• Deep understanding of federal infrastructure requirements, IPv6 connectivity, PKI, and cryptography.
• Experience securing network communications using TLS, QUIC, and advanced cipher suites.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

Nice to have

• Experience using AI/ML for automated malware detection, threat intelligence, or real-time security analytics.
• Familiarity with cloud-based security solutions and hirify.global architecture.
• Master’s degree or MBA in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
