What you will do

• Supervise daily lab staff, including scheduling, staffing, and conducting performance reviews.
• Ensure production goals are met and all case samples are processed according to SOPs and safety procedures.
• Oversee training for new hires and document nonconformance reports and corrective actions.
• Manage CAPAs and escalate protocol deviations to lead or senior management.
• Collaborate with interdepartmental teams including OPS, Engineering, R&D, and Support.
• Approve timecards and PTO requests while leading shift meetings to maintain team morale.

Requirements

• BS/BA in Medical Technology with 4 years CLIA lab experience, or equivalent degree/experience combination.
• Current CA state CLS certification required.
• Proven leadership experience and ability to manage projects with minimal supervision.
• Experience in Molecular Biology and proficient pipetting skills.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and data management skills.
