What you will do

• Review pathology tissue samples for accuracy and completeness using LIMS.
• Interpret pathology reports and clinical notes to perform data entry.
• Collaborate with the team to resolve sample discrepancies and non-conforming cases.
• Place necessary holds on cases and escalate issues to ensure timely resolution.
• Confirm cancer types for the reporting team via email and spreadsheets.
• Maintain daily case metrics and attend interdepartmental meetings.

Requirements

• ASCP Certification required.
• Must be based in the US.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required (BS/BA preferred).
• 2+ years of medical industry experience, pathology preferred.
• Proven data entry experience with a typing speed of at least 45wpm.
• Ability to handle PHI and complete HIPAA privacy training.
