What you will do

• Design and develop mechanical components and systems using Revit software.
• Conduct engineering calculations for heat loads and air flows to ensure design integrity.
• Prepare and maintain detailed technical documentation, plans, and reports.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and senior engineers to meet project milestones.
• Support the troubleshooting and optimization of mechanical systems.
• Assist in material selection and quality control processes during production.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Proficiency in Revit software.
• Understanding of mechanical engineering principles, including mechanics, thermodynamics, and materials science.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Must be based in or able to work on-site in Roanoke, VA.

Nice to have

• Internship or co-op experience in a mechanical engineering role.
• Familiarity with industry standards and codes such as ASHRAE and IMC.
• Basic knowledge of HVAC Design.
