Building Engineer

TL;DR

Building Engineer: Maintaining, operating, and troubleshooting building systems including HVAC, plumbing, and electrical with an accent on routine maintenance and tenant service requests. Focus on ensuring system safety, compliance with regulatory standards, and performing physical inspections and repairs.

Location: Must be based in Dallas, TX (100% in-office)

What you will do

• Perform scheduled maintenance, repairs, and inspections of building systems.
• Address service requests including plumbing, lighting, and HVAC issues.
• Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and escalate complex issues to senior engineers.
• Conduct property inspections to identify deficiencies and assist with preventive maintenance.
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulations including OSHA, NEC, and NFPA.
• Participate in on-call rotations and emergency response efforts.

Requirements

• Must be currently authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
• 2-3 years of job-related experience or equivalent trade certification.
• Engineering and trade licenses required per local, state, or national regulations.
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks including standing, walking, climbing ladders, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
• Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office and mobile work order applications.

• CFC Certification.
• Experience with BAS operation and troubleshooting.
